On Saturday, October 6, St. Mark’s will hold a Blessing of the Animals service, in honor of the Feast of St. Francis, who died on October 4, 1226.  St. Francis of Assisi was known for his gentle ways with animals, especially the birds.  Join Pastor Emily’s French Bulldog Fiona and bring your pets (yes, all are welcome!) to join in this celebration of the creatures that bless our lives.  The service begins at 11 AM in the courtyard outside worship space.  Remember to have your animal on a leash or otherwise contained.  Water will be available.
